<p><strong>Senior Electrical Engineer - Juneau, Alaska</strong></p>

<p><font size="3">Morris Engineering Group, LLC, an electrical consulting engineering firm, seeks an experienced, energetic, and talented senior electrical engineer to provide lead engineer services for an array of projects for our clients throughout the State of Alaska.</font></p>
<p><strong><font size="3">Job Responsibilities:</font></strong></p>
<p><font size="3">1. Responsible for development of electrical engineering projects from start to finish in close coordination with a multi-disciplined team. Coordinates workload through the entire project development to complete documents on time and within budget. </font></p>
<p><font size="3">2. Establishes and maintains good client relations, and assists in marketing, design and production meetings.</font></p>
<p><font size="3">3. Assumes the electrical lead on projects of all shapes and sizes. Experienced in an array of engineering projects such as:</font></p>
<p><font size="3">Commercial Buildings, Street Lighting Systems, Boat Harbors, Marine Ferry Terminals, Cruise Ship Docks, Educational Facilities, Airports, Multi-family Dwellings, Government Institutions, Utility &amp; Industrial Plants</font></p>
<p><font size="3">4. Day-to-day responsibilities include:</font></p>
<p><font size="3">Electrical system layout and design, including power and lighting systems, fire alarm systems, communication and security systems.</font></p>
<p><font size="3">Writing and editing of project specifications.</font></p>
<p><font size="3">Review of shop drawings, change orders and other construction documents.</font></p>
<p><font size="3">Production of construction ready plans and specifications. </font></p>
<p><font size="3">Develops detailed project cost estimates. </font></p>
<p><font size="3">Provides technical support during project bidding, on site inspections, etc.</font></p>
<p><font size="3">Review projects for code compliance and stays current on all relevant federal, state, and local code requirements.</font></p>
<p><font size="3">5. May direct the activities of other electrical engineering professionals and technicians, and act as a mentor to other staff members. Conducts quality control on the work of other engineers and technicians. Reviews electrical documents for areas of conflict with all disciplines.</font></p>

<p><strong><font size="3">Qualifications:</font></strong></p>
<p><font size="3">Licensed Professional Electrical Engineer with 10-15 years experience with a consulting or A/E firm is required.</font></p>
<p><font size="3">Strong knowledge of codes and related electrical design industry standards.</font></p>
<p><font size="3">Ability to plan, organize, and lead technical projects and teams.</font></p>
<p><font size="3">Strong computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.</font></p>
<p><font size="3">Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with clients, peers and contractors.</font></p>
<p><font size="3">Willing/able to travel on a minor to moderate degree basis.</font></p>

Our dynamic Alaska company is looking for an experienced, creative and talented Electrical Engineer to be an integral part of our engineering design team in Alaska.
