This Engineering Supervisor position is located in the Northeast region of the US (PA, NJ, OH, DE, MA, VT, ME or CT) where the supervisor will be able to establish, develop and maintain a staff of protection and automation engineers that will service the Northeast region and international projects. Responsibilities:

As a systems engineer, the primary responsibility is to work with the product office to define system and component level requirements, develop an architecture that satisfies those requirements and then allocate subsystem requirements within that architecture.

Typical systems engineering tasks include requirements management, concept design, conducting trade studies, conducting steady-state mass and energy balances, conducting dynamic analysis, functional analysis, participating in hazards analysis and failure mode analysis, defining system control strategies, developing test plans, applying test plans, analyzing test data, and writing test reports. Involvement will be required in the entire product life cycle from initial concept to field support.

The systems engineer will also develop tools and methodologies to realize standard test equipment designs which meet all of the requirements for test. These activities will rely heavily on process thinking and standard work.

Education

Experience
